If I could leave 0 stars I would. My dog was with Brit less than 24 hours and died in her care, alone in her back yard, with no shade or water after being left outside for over 2 hours. I am disappointed by the lack of thorough questioning by Rover.com to get a timeline of events. She lied to me about what occured that morning. I had a perfectly healthy 4 year old dog that had been to the vet 2 weeks prior for his annual physical. A necropsy has been done and he had no illness or other injuries. Dehydration and being overheated caused his death. I specifically instructed her that he was not to sleep in his kennel, however, her and her family let him cry and bark all night instead of texting or calling me. They knew he had high anxiety and it was his first time being away from family. I can only think he barked too much and annoyed them and instead of comforting him, they let him outside to suffer. Rover DOES NOT vet its petsitters. It only matches sitters with pet owners. They do not do anything to make sure the people watching your pets are pet lovers, or even decent people.

Brittany did an amazing job! She sent several photos/videos every day, took them on plenty of walks, and seems to truly be a dog lover. She also has a nice big yard with a new fence which I was happy to see. I would absolutely use her again!
