Hey my name is Briona. I am now going to Augusta University to major in Veterinary Technology . I usually volunteer to go on doggie dates at my local animal shelter, but I am going a little bit further this time. I have always loved pets, so being around pets all the time is like paradise. I do understand that all dogs have their own unique character which means they have différents needs and wants. I am willing to go out my way to make sure that your family member(s) is beyond happy. Briona did a great job with our 3 dogs. She is a bright girl, intuitive with dogs & we were very pleased with her service. She stayed at our new house for 4 nights while we left town. One of our dogs decided to try to escape while she was house sitting. She noted immediately and fixed our fence such that our boy could no longer jump out! She also figured out a way to bring in a gigantic, heavy box that was left at the entrance to our 20 acre farm(and she even took our trash canisters all the way to and from the curb on trash day). We are very pleased.

Briona did a great job taking care of our cats, and even got Teddy, our "scaredy cat", to warm up to her and spend time with her during her visits. She also did us a couple of favors that were very much appreciated, and took some great pics of "our babies". I hired Briona for a week-long trip and had mixed experiences. On the first day, my male cat was locked in our trash closet for 12 hours without food, water, or a litter box, despite my explicit instructions to check behind doors before departing. What concerned me more was that Briona didn't fully acknowledge her responsibility for this incident, leaving me anxious throughout my vacation. Upon returning, I found my cat severely dehydrated, a problem never mentioned in Briona's updates. This stress led to a severe IBD flare-up. It's crucial for a pet sitter to prioritize a pet's well-being and promptly communicate any issues. I was not satisfied with Briona's care.

I currently stay in a apartment. I can honestly admit that I do love taking dogs out to explore so usually that typically consists of the following: a walk through the trail at Lake Olmstead, a walk downtown, and going to the local doggy park at Evans Towne Park. I can get a crate if that is more comfortable with you , but I am very good with dogs so I see no need for crates unless it is a smaller size dog for commuting reasons only.

It is important for me to know ahead of time if your little family member(s) gets anxious ? Typically how long does it take for them to finish their food (for instance; a while or immediately). Are they allergic to anything ? If they are friendly towards other dogs and people ? Any medical background that may be alarming.
A typical day
I love going on doggie dates , which consists of me traveling to different places such as the park, a trail, or downtown. I also love taking dogs to PetSmart so that they can pick out their own little treat or toy. I like doing this because like humans , dogs can also be anxious especially in a new environment. Allowing them to get a comfort toy, allows them to feel more confident. And it also creates a bond between me and your lovely little family member(s)!
