Pet care experience
I have been dog sitting for almost 2 years now and I absolutely love it. It is probably the most therapeutic job anyone could have and the most enjoyable one too. In my hometown, I would watch my uncles, aunts and siblings dogs and then I started to expand. I would watch family friend’s dogs and other people’s dog who heard about me through my family members. I love animals especially dogs and I just cannot wait to meet all these new pets and treat them like my own.

We were very pleased with Brinley's care of our pets and our house! She took care of 3 dogs at our home while we were gone for an extended weekend for an out-of-state wedding. Everything was in order when we returned and our pets were happy and healthy. Brinley was awesome! My dog is insulin dependent, blind and spoiled rotten. Brinley took excellent care of his medical needs and took extra time to give him love and attention in my absence. I would first like to meet the dogs before hand and get to know them and their owners. That always helps a dog sitters ‘a nerves before watching new pets, at least for me it did. It really depends on the owners rules, but I do enjoy playing with them inside and outside and if they are able, I would take them on walks.

I would just need to know any dietary restrictions or if they do or do not get along with other dogs or random people. This is important for me and the dogs well-being.
A typical day
I definitely do not mind taking dogs in my car and taking them on walks, or if they live in a neighborhood I would do that as well. I definitely love to play with dogs inside the home or outside if there is a yard.

Availability
I am currently a college student. I have one class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10-10:50, which gives me plenty of time to tend to you dogs before and after. On Tuesdays and Thursday, I do have a little bit of a busier schedule. I have two classes from 9:30 to 12:30 and then a hour and a half break before my last class at 2. That break should give me time to go let your pets out depending on how far you live from San Marcos.
