Pet care experience
From 5 to 18, we had rescued, adopted, and had over 30 puppies in our house! The last 5 years, I have been the go to person to take my friend's dog when she may be working long shifts or going out of town. I have cared for over 15 dogs between October 2021 and November 2022; with 3 families I saw on a weekly basis. I have 4 households I currently sit for and 3 households with weekly walks. Not accepting cats at this time. *Currently unable to lift over 10lbs, shoulder surgery 4/22/24 **If you have booked with me in the past and my calendar shows unavailable, please message me or send the request through.

Brigit is the perfect person to take care of our home and our 3 Boston Terriers while we are on our travels! I love receiving pictures of my dogs being happy and relaxed while she is here and I come home to happy faces every time.
Brigit was friendly and great with my two dogs. She kept us in the loop during her stay on how the dogs were doing and we felt comfortable knowing that they were being taken care of so well. I would love to help you with giving a little extra love and human time to your fur babies. Whether it is a drop in to enjoy dinner with them or a weekend with their favorite dog sitter, you'll come home to happy pups. DILO: Morning coffee followed with a workout (includes a 30 min walk). Breakfast, playtime or outside time, then a nap around 10a for them. If they need minor grooming, I would tend to that. We would cuddle or relax with music or a TV show playing throughout the day. During dinner time we would eat and more relaxing before we take an evening walk or some playtime. Length of outdoor time will depend on climate, dog's health, and walkability of neighborhood. I am clear about any current commitments and change of plans.

If your dog(s) has/have special needs or medication, please make sure to go over this with me in detail. I'm good with direction and a quick learner. Any quirky traits that the average visitor in your home would not pickup on (like splashing the water bowl when needing to go outside).
A typical day
I'm there to engage with the dog(s), we will go for walks and play with toys around the house. If you are in training, I'll practice training with them while they are in my care. And of course, plenty of balls for them.

Availability
I have started a food photography business and looking for a break in my daily routine along with help to support the startup. During the day, I'll be making phone calls, editing, and working on my business. Typically, I will step away from the house about 3-4 hours a day.
