Hello! My name is Brigid, and I live in Granite Bay. I have always had dogs in my life, and I enjoy caring for them. Currently, I do not own a dog of my own, so I get my "fix" through the experiences with dogs I work with. I am a teacher, and my love for children undoubtedly transfers over to my love for dogs. I enjoy running in my free time, so Rover has given me a great opportunity to do what I already enjoy doing in a schedule that I agree upon with clients. I am a walker/runner that is willing to set a scheduled time slot that works for the both of us. I am always on time and committed to caring for you dog in a way that I would hope someone would care for my own. I am a person that follows through with my clients requests, and I have a track record of rarely canceling last minute. I truly love what I do, and I hope to work with you soon!

Brigid was an excellent caretaker for our two dogs. She was available with little notice and was on time for both our intro meeting and for all of the "sessions" with the dogs. When we arrived back home our dogs were happy and healthy. She even sent us pictures! I strongly recommend Brigid to take care of your pets.
We loved Brigid and so did our 3 month old English Bulldog! My husband and I felt at ease with her coming over to take care of her while we were at work. Brigid was wonderful at communicating and very dependable. We felt very fortunate to have found her! We would hire her again in a heart beat!

Before sitting a dog, I would like to know the temperament of the dog; the general attitude a dog has towards other animals and people. For example, it is helpful to know the type of breed your dog is, whether your dog is friendly to people and other dogs, his/her ability to know commands such as "sit" and "stay", length of abilities to walk and/or run. The more information I know about your dog is beneficial for the both of us because I gain useful information and I am able to create a routine and schedule of care for your dog, specifically.
A typical day
I would be happy to take your dog anywhere you please, however I am also able to create my own routes without a problem. I am an experienced walker/runner, so I know the rules of the road and follow them responsibly. If there is a local park around your home, I would love to throw the ball for your dog if that is an activity that your dog is well-trained in and enjoys doing. I am open to walking or running with your dog, and I always supply myself with water on trips to always have it accessible when needed.
