I have a fully fenced yard and my pets (3 dogs and 4 cats) are extremely friendly s and great with guest animals coming into our home. our pets love to play, so they will help us keep your baby entertained and loved throughout the day, so your pet will go home tired and happy. we also have spare rooms that they can relax in (with a human or without, depending on the pet's need) if they get overwhelmed or need a break from the other animals. we feed and walk your pet separately from ours, just to be extra cautious that we are providing the one on one attention they need. CATS: We only watch cats in our home in special circumstances. typically, we mostly only accept when we will also be watching their doggie sibling (we rarely take cats alone). we limit the amount of cat sitting we do due to the stress it puts on our kitties to have another cat in the home (they are all friendly to other cats, but all cats can be sensitive to change and ours will sometimes start marking or hiding more when new cats are around). when we do watch a cat, we have a spare bedroom that we will keep them in most of the time so they have a safe space away from the other cats and dogs, since cats take longer than dogs to adjust to new social settings. we do bring them into the main area in short intervals on their terms if they so choose. one of us humans sleeps in there with them each night and spends hours throughout the day in their room with them as well so they are not alone too much during their stay. please reach out with any questions about cat sitting so we can see if we may be a good fit!
