Pet care experience
I provide in home boarding for medium and large breed dogs. Primarily focused on hounds and the difficult/ sensitive to board. Located in Campton Hills (un-incorp St. Charles). I do require a meet and greet as I have a resident pup (Treeing Walker). I am canine first aid and cpr certified. We have an acre fenced and only take one client / families dogs at a time. I've been working with dogs between boarding, rescue work and training for over 30 years. I've trained several of my dogs up through CGC (Canine Good Citizens) and Therapy Dog with Lyons Township Dog Training Club and most recently since becoming a St. Charles resident Fox Valley Dog Training clubs.

We were very pleased with the amazing care that our Rusty received from Brigette and Tony. They did everything possible to make Rusty's stay comfortable,safe and treated him like he was their own. We highly recommend them.
Brigette took wonderful care of out Toby, Coonhound. He had a great time! We received pictures throughout his stay and he looked happy and content! Maggie, canine hostess, played with Toby, in their wonderful fenced backyard - ample space to stretch out those legs. Will be booking again soon. Thanks, Brigette, for giving Toby a fun visit - home away from home!!
My husband and I felt very much at ease leaving our two babies with Brigette and Tony while on vacation. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up times. I got updates once in awhile which was nice! I will definitely be using them again!
We are very happy with Brigettes service very communicative and easy to work with. We well definitely be using her for future overnight stays.

I do have some strict guidelines as we need to make sure it is a good fit for all. It is a big decision to place your pet in a strangers home as it is a large responsibility for me to ensure a good fit for the safety and happiness of all and my resident hound. * I do require a meet and greet. We introduce on netural ground, introduce and walk the yard, introduce and enter the home. This helps ensure a stress free meeting, establishes boundries of the yard and promotes a smooth transition while giving the pet parents a full opportunity to see and evaluate everything. *I also require a current health certificate and will share ours. *I am canine first aid and cpr certified. *We have an acre fenced. (Prepared to stake jumpers) *Only take one client / families dogs at a time.

A typical day
We have several activities to offer depending on the needs, level of training and desires / comfort of our pet parents. With an acre fenced and a beautiful sun deck games of fetch are always on the menu as well as walks on some of our beautiful local trails.

I work remotely several days per week and my husband is self employed and working from our home office most days. No one is gone more than 4-5 hours at a time.
