Pet care experience
I have lived with at least 4 cats my entire life and also have a 1 year old german shepherd and a 10 week old german shepherd puppy back in Hazleton that I’ve helped raise and take care of on breaks. I have shadowed at a veterinary office and do research at Wilkes University about animal behavior

If a dog has any medical issues or requirements, I would want to be informed of this so I can be prepared. It is also very helpful to know a dog’s temperament and how it gets along with other people/dogs/animal. For example, if I’m walking them I know wether its best to stay away from others.
A typical day
Kirby Park is a great place for walks! It is close and has many nice trails to go for walks! Having two high energy dogs myself, I know the importance of getting the exercise and play time they need!

I currently attend Wilkes University so I would be able to care for pets in between classes (I generally have 2 hour gaps between 1 to 2 50 minute classes) and/or after classes.
