Accommodating Lover of All Animals

Pet care experience

*Hi there! Please be sure to read the following information thoroughly as an aid to help you on your quest to find a suitable pet caregiver. Thank you for stopping by!* I have a B.S. degree in environmental biology from the University of South Florida which has given me extensive knowledge and exposure to numerous types of animals. My education aids me in affirming all living things are in an environment where they thrive. My number one priority is making sure your pet experiences that, and their well-being benefits from doing so. I also have some experience in caring for turtles, mice, ducklings, and other non-traditional pets. I am a fast learner who loves all animals, so if you have a pet different from the common house pet, I am open to learning about whatever care and treatment is required to ensure your pet is properly looked after. I am currently working full-time for Rover at home, so I am very flexible and accommodating to schedules of all types. After health and safety, your satisfaction is my next objective, and I will work hard to maintain a healthy environment and lifestyle for your pet while you are absent. Let me know what time/days are needed, if there are any particular requests you require, or have any other matters that need to be addressed. I can make plans accordingly. I am very responsive, so if you have any questions or concerns, I will quickly get back to you! FAQ -How many dogs do you take at a time? To eliminate stress, I only accept one dog at a time unless they are from the same household. -How often are dogs taken out? I typically let them out four times a day: morning, noon, evening, and night. If your dog is on a set schedule, feel free to include that in their care instructions and I will adjust my times to theirs. -What supplies should I bring? Other than their food and medication, it is up to your discretion what you want to bring. I do have toys, bowls, bedding, and treats (original Milk-Bone biscuits), but you are free to pack their favorites from home. If your pet is crate trained, you are welcome to bring their crate along or their dog bed. -Do you send updates? Of course! I give 1-2 updates per day (in the morning or at night) with a few pictures of your pet to let you know how they’re doing. If you would like for me to send more, just let me know! -Do you have experience with anxious dogs? I have cared after dogs, cats, and other species of animals with various dispositions since a young child. Their temperaments have ranged from hyperactive to relaxed, so I know multiple methods of handling and treating pets who have a harder time being around a new person or being separated from their owner. -Is a meet and greet necessary? A meet and greet is not required but encouraged so both parties can get to know each other, ensure expectations align, and determine if it is a good fit. Sometimes life gets a little busy, so we can always set up a call or voice chat if an in-person meet and greet is not feasible. -What is your cancellation policy? For boarding and drop-ins: you receive a full refund if you cancel by 12:00 p.m. seven days before the booking begins. If you cancel later, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and 100% refund for any days after that. For day care and walks: You will receive a full refund if you cancel before the booking begins. If you cancel after the booking begins, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and 100% refund for any days after that. -Do you accept unneutered or unspayed dogs? Unfortunately, I do not host dogs that are not neutered or spayed. -What happens if there is bad weather predicted during a scheduled walk? Since we can experience extreme weather during summer and winter, I do take precautions to help alleviate any discomfort your pet may experience which involves having a portable water dish, avoiding hot pavement, maintaining a slow pace, etc. I will contact you if temperatures drop to 30°F or reach 95°F to see your preferred method of action. This can include converting your walk to a drop-in, where your pup and I go outside long enough to relieve them and then keep them occupied by playing indoors. We can also push their walk to an earlier or later time (schedule permitting), or you may opt for us to continue our scheduled walk. -Do you provide constant care? I do provide constant care for pets who are unable to be alone for less than 4 hours. My constant care rate is double my regular rate (Rover fee included). If your little one needs extra attention, let me know and I will manually adjust the pricing!

Our experience with Brielle was excellent! She is so easy to communicate and coordinate with. She sent us daily updates with great pics. Our dog is shy and skittish with new humans but Brielle was wonderful with her. I highly recommend her and will definitely be booking with her again in the future.

I got the best pictures and updates from Brielle. This was my first time leaving my new pup with anyone not family and I felt so comfortable. Thanks Brielle!

Brielle is a fantastic sitter! Our dog always enjoys her stay there and Brielle provides regular updates. It makes it that much easier to go on our trips knowing our pup is well taken care of and in good hands.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a detached single-family house without any sets of stairs, a bonus for any seniors or dogs who face any hip/leg troubles! We also have a very large yard that is unfenced. To keep your little one safe and secure while we enjoy some time outside, they will not be allowed out without constant supervision and a tether (e.g., a lead or yard leash). My community caters very well to dogs. Nearby are multiple dog-friendly parks that I can utilize in making sure your pet is getting the proper exercise and stimulus that they need. Additionally, there are walking trails where we can take relaxing strolls. To avoid potential health risks and behavioral issues, I do not enter dog parks unless your pup and I are the only attendees. There are three cats in our home who are indifferent to other animals. They like to hide all day and night so there is a chance that your pet(s) may never even see them. Regardless, if there is ever any difficulty with the pets getting along, we have our own “cat room” where they can be separated so everyone's still happy! We do have plenty of toys, beds, and safe places where your pet can decompress while adjusting to a new environment. I also live with my husband who is homesick over his family dogs, so he will be able to give your pet extra love, attention, and playtime when they are around. He typically joins me during night bookings for safety!

Information Brielle J. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know what their temperament is like, their favorite activities/toys, if there are any special requirements for them, and how friendly they are to cats. We have three cats who hide all the time, but if you know your pet would react from the sight of them, then we can make arrangements to separate our cats into their room where they will still be getting proper treatment and care. I would like to be aware of every detail in their routine that you consider essential because I aim to ensure a smooth transition for when I care for them and when you return. I do not have any breed preferences- I love them all. Love to snuggle with the big boys, and love to cuddle lap pooches. For boarding, I do require all dogs to be spayed or neutered as well as current on all shots.

A typical day

We have a few lovely dog-friendly parks in our area where we can play and socialize or go for walks, runs, and adventures. My husband and I typically go out and exercise five days a week, so we are more than willing to bring your pet along! Some pets love going for rides, and I can spend time driving around and exploring the neighborhood to calm their nerves. If your pet is more lethargic, we can stay home where there is lots of room to roam and lie in the sun while your pet still gets enough attention and affection.
