Although booked days in advance, Brielle was unavailable at drop off, and we had to drop off Maggie with her family. That was the first red flag. The fact that there were other dogs there besides hers (note that her profile states she only takes one client at a time), was the second red flag. Later that day she communicated via text message that Maggie had attempted to bite her brother. That was yet another red flag, as Maggie has never bitten anyone in the year we've had her. Once she was on site, Brielle did spend alone time with Maggie and seems to have earned her trust. Her handling of the situation, Maggie's anxiety and nervousness, and our fears, was very professional. My only regret is that there was not better communication between us on how many dogs would be present at the home, as I feel that contributed greatly to the issues.
