Pet care experience
I’ve had a dog in my family for as long as I can remember. My last dog, a German Shepherd, unfortunately had aggression and anxiety issues. However, I gained unique experience. I also worked at a dog day care and boarding center for a year, and handled all different types of dogs from tiny terriers to Great Danes and from puppies to seniors.

Briella was awesome! She was super easy to communicate with and did a wonderful job walking both the dogs!
Briella did drop in care for pups while we were out of town. She was great about communicating with us and stayed the full 30 minutes we asked her to-which other dog-sitters have not done. That just shows she takes this seriously and wants to do a good job! We are thankful we found her on Rover!
Briella was amazing with our German Shepherd! Not only did she keep her active, but she taught her many commands and tricks! It is clear she has a love and passion for dogs. Highly recommend.

We all have house rules for our pets. Maybe you give your dog people-food or maybe you don’t. Some of us keep the couch to ourselves and some of us welcome pets on all of our furniture. And some of us take our dogs for walks while the rest of us let our dogs take us for a walk. No matter what, I respect my clients’ preferences and prioritize the safety of our furry friends.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I should know about. The biggest thing I’d like to know is if your dog likes other dogs and people, just so I’m prepared ahead of time!
A typical day
With my last dog, we loved Douglas Trail! I also love walking around town on sidewalks, and if we’re close, Silver Lake Park is always great! Playing fetch is a go-to, but I also love teaching dogs tricks to keep them mentally stimulated. I successfully taught my dog to spin, shake, pick up toys, run around me, jump on my shoulders, speak and more! I can also teach sit, lay down, stay, and other basic commands. I am currently a college student and will be home for winter break:) I have a part-time job as well but have plenty of spare time I'd like to spend taking care of pets!
