I have owned dogs and more animals my whole life. I grew up in a rural town outside of Sacramento, CA. I enjoy all sorts of dog company. Train tracks and running with my dog Maddie was thrilling. I also can go for a a calm mellow relaxing type of dog. Through high school, I was involved in a program called ROP Animal Health, I learned and practiced propper ways to treat injuries and assess behaviors for multiple different types of animals. Through this program I spent the second semester of my junior year in Goldorado Animal Hospital observing and assisting as needed. It gave me a lot of insight about what to look for in an upset or hurting dog. I also volunteered for about 3 months 1 time a week at Foothill Dog Rescue, there I played with the dogs in Doggie Day Care and helped feed them and put them away when play time was over. It helped me work with multiple dogs at once and all different breeds. My availability will vary day by day on weekdays because I am currently enrolled at NAU and taking classes different times at different days, but I have free time through out each day.
