I have a wonderful backyard fully enclosed with a 6 ft. chain link fence. I also live in a spacious house for days when the weather does not agree. I have three dogs myself, all adults and very well socialized. Cuddling on the furniture is encouraged in this house. I am confident I can adapt to each owner's requests, such as special diets, giving medication, liberal or limited giving of treats, discouraging bad habits that are being worked on, etc. Tell me your needs, and I am excellent at following directions. My biggest fear when putting my dogs in someone else's care is them running away. That's part of why I'm listing my services on Rover. Other dog owners can rest easy knowing their dog still gets to run off- leash in a large space without the risk of escaping. I have one chihuahua (male) and two German shepherds (both female). Although currently new to Rover, I have dog-sat for friends for multiple nights and had zero issues. My oldest shepherd does have join problems, so a hyper dog that will not respect her space might not be a good fit. A little bit about myself: I live alone and work as a bartender in Nisswa. In the winter I work very part time. I am working towards moving to San Diego to continue my engineering degree in August. (3 out of 5 years complete woo!) I'm one of those people who my dogs are my children. They go on every vacation with me; I wouldn't have it any other way. I also went through Carol Manley's obedience classes with my eldest dog. We went through all three tiers and I learned so much. Like she says, "It's about training the owner, not the dog."
