Pet care experience
** PLEASE NOTE** I will be in Seattle until 5/10, after which I will be out of the area for a while. Please only contact me for Seattle bookings if they are to take place before 5/10! I have taken care of just about every type of animal since I was young (dogs, cats, horses, birds, fish, hedgehogs, gerbils, snakes, etc.) I've trained and raised several puppies and kittens. The majority of the animals in my life were adult animals and if they were family pets, they stayed with us until it was time to cross the rainbow bridge so I also have a fair amount of experience with senior care as well. I grew up with no less than 4 animals in the house at all times, so I'm very good with multiple-pet households, but I currently live in a household with only one dog, so I am also comfortable doting on just one at a time :)

Bridgette was incredible!! She sent daily updates, took the girls on long trail walks, and was available 24/7. One of my dogs is extremely anxious so she came all the way out to do a meet and greet/trial walk with us which really helped Frankie feel more comfortable. It means the world to have someone who can provide the same level of care as I do when I'm away. Bridgette also left the entire house spotless and is a joy to work with! I couldn't have asked for a better sitter - thank you so much Bridgette:)
Bridgette was fantastic with our large pack! She gave us lots of updates and seemed to really understand each pups' needs and personality. We would definitely use her again and recommend her to others.
Bridgette kept my cat company for four days and did a great job. Simba is normally very aloof and leery of strangers but even when Bridgette came over to meet us before my trip he was quite comfortable with her. During the stay, from the photos and notes Bridgette sent me, I could see that he warmed up to Bridgette immediately. A huge bonus was that Bridgette watered a few of my house plants and left my house exactly as I’d left it. The next time I travel I hope Bridgette will be available!
We love having Bridgette over to watch Marley! They’ve bonded really well and Bridgette has the quiet but confident energy Marley thrives with. Thank you!

I really believe every pet is different and taking into account their personality, energy, as well as their history or needs is very important. I like to give pets loads of attention if they are the type that likes attention, or I'm happy to just sit and read a book with them if they are more the sleepy type. I don't believe in leaving dogs in yards unattended, and I am a very communicative person-- I am not afraid to ask questions or clarify things I may not be sure of.

Please let me know if there are any quirks or needs I need to be aware of with your fuzzy family member, including behavioral needs, food sensitivities, etc. I want to be sure I am aware of any and all pieces of the puzzle so your pet can have the smoothest transition into enjoying their time while you’re away!
A typical day
I love to figure out and customize activities for each of the pets I watch! If they like water, I like to take them places where they can swim (weather permitting), if they like people, I like to take them to places where they can be socialized. I like to let the animal kind of decide the agenda, even down to walks. When I’m walking a dog, that’s their time. If they want to stop and smell a certain leaf for 5 minutes, so be it! I don’t like to rush them. Quite literally: “stop and smell the roses” is my approach.
