Pet care experience
I graduated from OSU with a major in animal behavior, and I love spending time around animals. I am passionate about learning about them and their behaviors! My studies at OSU were primarily focused on feline, canine, and equine behavior and health. I spent six months working at a doggy daycare in Corvallis; my duties included playing with the dogs, taking care of their potty situations, and making sure they were hydrated and given snacks throughout their daycare stay. I also started work as a research assistant at OSU working with cats and analyzing their unique behaviors. In the summer of 2019, I worked with Australian wildlife 🦘 Since graduating, I started work as a veterinary assistant at an emergency clinic in the pdx area, I am also fear free certified!

I make sure the pets are happy and feel comfortable with me. I’m not going to push them to be my friend if they are wary of me, I just want to make sure they are being well cared for while I’m with them. With my pets, I love to play and spend lots of time cuddling.

I would like to know how much exercise your pet usually gets, and what types of personality your pet has (shy, energetic, a people pleaser, etc.). I have no preferences with breed, but if you would like to tell me what breed you’re dog is then go for it!
A typical day
I’ll take your pup on a walk around the neighborhood or find a good park! There’s a couple of parks in the Portland area that I really enjoy, so if you are comfortable I would probably go on a little adventure with your pup to one of them.

Availability
Currently I am working full time as a vet assistant, so walks and drop-ins on pets are most ideal! But on days off I am able to dog or cat sit! I do work swing shift for ER, so I am unavailable after 2:50 pm.
