Pet care experience
Growing up with dogs, my husband Tim and I both miss having them in the house. Sadly, we are just too busy during the week to give them the kind of attention they deserve! We visit with my parents' dog, Shadow, just to get our "dog fix" - but we have plenty of time on the weekends to devote to other four-legged friends! We have a lovely little house down the street from a nice park and walking paths and are happy to host your pup in our home, or drop in to give them the nice long walks and play time they need when you are busy with other things. Fridays, 3 PM - Sundays, 10 PM we are available and eager to meet your cutie!

Bridget and Tim are responsible, caring dog lovers. They are two of the nicest and grounded people I know. I've seen first hand how nurturing they are with dogs. They treat every dog they meet like it is their family member. They understand how precious a pet can be and they treat them with the adoration and affection that these lovable animals deserve.
Bridget and Tim both grew up in dog loving homes. Bridget has taken care of three of her family Labrador retrievers over the past twenty years, one from the age of eight weeks and two rescues after that. She relates to dogs with kindness and patience and understanding. From the day our Labrador, Shadow, met Tim, he took To him immediately. Shadow is an excellent judge of “dog people” and he looks forward to Tim and Bridget coming over to play and go for long walks, or just play on the yard. Shadow waits eagerly at the kitchen door as soon as he sees them arrive, and watches at the window as they leave, and we know how happy he will be to see them each time they Return for another visit.

What kind of temperament can we expect? Energy level? What are their favorite activities? Are they good around other animals? How about kids? Just need to know what to expect in all different types of scenarios, as we may encounter other people and pets on our walks. My family has always had bigger dogs/labs, and my fiance's family always had smaller dogs - dachshund/jack russell. We love all kinds! We are also happy to assist doggies with special needs - when I was living with the family dog, I helped care for our "tripod" who had three legs post-surgery for her cancer.
A typical day
We frequently walk on the paths near our house and would love to have your dog join us for our strolls! Also, your pet will receive free reign of our house and we will play fetch, tug and whatever other games your pooch likes! If your dog prefers to nap all day, they are welcome to find a comfy spot on the couch or wherever else they want to snooze!
