Caring for dogs makes my heart full
Pet care experience
I've had dogs in my life since I was 6 years old. I love taking care of them, making their days full of fun and ensuring that they're healthy and loved. I walked my miniature daschund and chocolate lab side by side for years, so I got a lot of experience with a range of sizes and types of dogs. I now have a bordercollie mix of my own, and he has taught me even more about what makes dogs happy. I have experience house sitting for neighborhood pets, experience giving medicine to dogs, taking care of elderly dogs and youngsters. I also volunteered at my local SPCA throughout college and got a lot of experience handling different levels of leash-trained dogs, and reactive dogs.

Bridget and her pup Rudy were incredible! She sent pics and updates every day I was gone and was very easy to plan and communicate with. My pup came home tired as ever! Will definitely be leaving Juni with Bridget and Rudy again! :)
Ruby came back so sleepy! Exactly what I want from an hour walk. Bridget asks good questions and gives you updates about how your dog is doing. She is very aware of her surroundings and making sure Ruby is able to have her best walk. Ruby is afraid of cars and kids- I heard Bridget praise and redirect Ruby when encountering a scary thing. She really cares about my dog and it is noticeable. 10/10- highly recommend!
Bridget has been around dogs her whole entire life, ever since I’ve known her which is 10 years I have seen her around dogs and different pets. Bridget is a very warm and loving individual when it comes to the care of dogs and other animals. Bridget knows how to make a dog feel special and loved in all the right ways such as cuddling, playing with them, hugging, being a dogs best friend. Bridget is always responsible when it comes taking care of dogs and their needs and also making sure the dogs are safe as well. Bridget grew up with 2 dogs and I have always seen her face just lighten up every time she sees them and she loves them with all her heart. She is the perfect person for this job.

I have a fenced yard to keep the pups safe, and I don't let them out unsupervised in the early morning or night when it's not bright out. I can crate your dog and provide medicine if needed (tips on how you accomplish those things are great). Your pup will be safe and loved in our home and have plenty of room to roam around, play and snuggle up. If they need some alone time from our dog, we also have space to do that.

Availability
I'm currently working part-time as a Master's student and a barista. As summer nears, I will have even more time to spend with pups. My partner works from home so he is there for any timely needs, and otherwise I am there most of the day with the dogs as well. My pup has gotten into a routine of outdoor time in the morning/day in our yard, then we head out on long walks in the afternoon before cuddling up on the sofa.
