Best care for your best friend
Pet care experience
I have always loved animals, especially dogs. I grew up in a house full of pets: dogs, mice, snakes, guinea pigs, rabbits, and more. I was responsible for taking care of these animals, and was often asked by neighborhood families to watch their dogs and cats while they were on vacation. I currently own a 3 year old male golden retriever named Outlaw and 3 year old female great Pyreneese mix named Agave. They are the sweetest pair you can meet, but they are animals, so it can take them time to warm up to some new dogs. Outlaw can be a little timid at first, but loves to make new friends to run around and play tug of war with. Don’t be alarmed by his snarly face, that is actually his super happy face. Agave can take a little longer to warm up to new dogs & may snap as a warning that she is not ready to play nice, but typically warms up well and becomes glued to her new best friend in no time. As a rescue dog, Agave enjoys hanging out in the safety of her crate or under my bed. When she did not warm up to one of our past rover dogs, I just kept Agave in my bedroom where her safe spaces are, and coordinated outside time and separate sleep spaces so there were no issues.
Reviews
Bridget and her dogs were so accommodating of our energetic pup. He had the time of his life playing at her house and slept so well when he came home.
Bridget is great. She sends great photos and updates everyday. I can see from the photos my dog has lots of fun with her dogs.
Ok I don’t even know where to begin…Bridget is the most perfect sitter and literally everything you could ask for for someone watching your precious babies. I can be an anxious dog mom who worries all the time, but I felt so comfortable leaving them with her. She is extremely caring and treated our babies like her own. She also has two of her own amazing pups and I haven’t seen my dogs love other dogs like they did with hers. My pups are also exhausted from all the fun they had. She sent us so many updates like videos and pictures while we were gone and it made us so happy to see our pups so happy. I am SO happy we found her and I almost didn’t want to leave this review because we want her to ourselves lol. 110% would recommend Bridget!
Bridget was absolutely AMAZING! As soon as I took Otto off his leash him and her golden retriever, Outlaw, were playing having a wonderful time. She took great pictures of him playing, and at meal time. She even gave him the squash I left for him for his meals and his favorite cucumber water. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be booking with Bridget again next time I leave town!

I have a large home and fully fenced back yard. Growing up we owned an American Mastiff, where we learned the importance of dog training and learning body language and behavior, which I apply in all doggie situations. I keep all dog toys away while the dogs are warming up to each other to avoid any unwanted aggression & only introduce toys when I feel they can be shared and not fought over. During feeding times I make sure the dogs do not violate any other dog's space while they are eating to avoid any food aggression. I am happy to accommodate any special feeding needs, such as feeding separately from the group, in a crate, and even hand feeding. Does your dog prefer to be left alone or need to be crated? I own 4 different sized dog crates, and have a spare room your dog can be set up in. Let’s set up a meet and greet to get our pups acquainted and ensure they have the best time!

Information Bridget M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I should account for before their stay so I can plan ahead. My dogs are allowed on the furniture, but let me know if you would prefer that your dogs stay off any furniture or other rules enforced.
A typical day
A typical day is wake up, belly rubs, potty, eat, sleep, play, repeat. In my fully fenced backyard the dogs have plenty of space to run around and play, get the zoomies, or chill out in the sun. If your dog enjoys water, I have a small dog pool for the dogs to splash around in. Just ate? Pups will wait around 30 mins before outdoor playtime to help avoid bloat. Don’t like the outdoors? There is plenty of space inside for the dogs to play a little tug of war or puzzle games for stimulation.

Availability
I am currently working from home 4 out of 5 days a week, with the occasional after work activity, & am available most weekends! When I am working from home the dogs get many bathroom breaks and I enjoy taking the dogs outside to play on my breaks. My schedule does fluctuate, but I typically try not to leave the dogs home alone for more than 5 hours at a time to minimize my own guilt. When I am required to go into the office once a week, the dogs are typically home alone 7-8 hours on days I am fully in the office. Most dogs are already sad when their parents leave them, so I avoid leaving the house while I am dog sitting to give your dog 24 hour hands on care.
