Pet care experience
I have over 10 years of experience in handling/caring for pets. I began a dog-walking “business” in elementary school with neighborhood pets, I have work experience in dog kennels and horse farms. My boyfriend, Aidan, and I share a pack consisting of 3 dogs and a cat. Each with their own unique quirks and personalities. We hope to be the pet sitter we were once searching for; someone not easily intimidated and eager to earn the trust of both you and your loyal companion. Aidan also has numerous years of pet care experience and has completed an extensive dog training/behavioral management course with his sweet boy, Rudie (the bloodhound mix with sad eyes) in Charlottesville. Rover operates as each of our second job. While added income is nice, rover is the best way we could think of to become more involved in our quaint Virginia community and meet other fur parents like ourselves!
Reviews
I have a dog and a cat and they both love Bridget! She’s watched my dog basically since she was a puppy and koda adores her. She’s always super excited to see bridget at the door. My cat is an elusive boy but he warmed up to bridget pretty quickly. She’s always really attentive, and caring to both my pets. If you need a pet sitter, I can’t recommend her enough!
About Bridget L.
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
Caring for your pet, to me, entails sticking to the routine you have provided for them. I know my pack of crazies live by their schedules and need that structure to ease their anxieties. It is my priority to administer the same standard of care to your pet(s).
Information Bridget L. would like to know about your pet
Personality quirks are our specialty. Having the necessary information pertaining to their likes/dislikes, disabilities, medications, limitations, etc. will allow me to feel most adequately prepared. No amount of information is too much.
A typical day
Making sure your pet is comfortable is my top priority. Two of my four fur babies have separation anxiety and I have deep empathy for those who are weary about leaving their babies alone. I know how important the structure and routine I’ve created for my pets can be and I will make sure to follow yours to the best of my ability. Playing, cuddles, treats, hanging out doing our own thing in the same room, you name it!

Availability
I work from home and have a fairly flexible schedule. Mornings, evenings, and weekends is where I’ll shine. However, if there are times I am not available during week days, my boyfriend is available to step in should you feel comfortable.
