As a registered veterinary technician with 6+ years of animal experience, I feel incredibly comfortable and equipped with handling a vast range of pets in various sizes, ages, medical conditions, and breeds. Not only have I been working in the veterinary field hands on with other people’s pets for the past 6 years , but I have nearly 2 years of experience volunteering at local animal shelters in the Humane Society, which I feel truly broadened my expertise and knowledge in understanding how to cater to the individual animal’s needs. I understand how meeting a new friend can sometimes be overwhelming for a dog, and feel that I possess the skills necessary in knowing how to approach each new friend, understanding that each dog may require a different way of being introduced and growing trust in that new friend. As a fellow dog mom to a timid rescue pup, I know the stress that can come with leaving your beloved companion with someone you don’t know very well. I am happy to accommodate and do anything I can to earn your trust and allow you to feel completely at ease when your pets are in my care. If you have any animals who require daily medications, I am trained to administer those medications if that is something that will come up in the time I am watching them. I always remain mindful and follow any instruction left by you of how to best handle your dog on their leash, what yours and their socializing comfort level is, if your dog has any food allergies, or if your pet is one that just needs some extra TLC :)
