I grew up in Iowa and dogs and cats have always been a part of my family. I not only have cared for my own dogs, but I have dog/house sat for 3 years as part-time work since moving out here in 2016. I am passionate about animals and looking to use my skills to care for animals of all breeds and of all ages. Back home in Iowa I lived with an elderly golden retriever and 8-month old yellow lab. I've dog sat multiple dogs at one time, am comfortable giving medication, and have experience with many breeds. I have a pit-bull/shar pei mix at home named Fin and he is by far the cuddliest, expressive dog I’ve owned. Currently I am also working for a local non-profit doing Education and Community Engagement work. Some of the skills that I have learned through school and practiced through my position at work include punctuality, responsibility, healthy living and respect.
