Pet care experience
I have always been an animal lover and an advocate for the humane and ethical treatment towards all animals. I currently work at Michigan Humane as a social worker and I provide support for people and their pets! I also foster kitties when I have extra time and space in my home. I have 5 cats of my own and grew up around a wonderful German Shepherd. I am a very active person who enjoys getting out in nature as much as possible. I am very knowledgeable in all basic pet care, but I have a soft spot for kitties. I have pet sat for many friends and family but I am always looking to suit you and your pets specific needs. Feel free to ask me any and all questions. I always set up a meet and greet beforehand so I can get to know you and your pet(s) so everyone feels comfortable.

I always want your pet to feel like they are still in their regular routine in order to keep them stress-free and happy. For dog walks: I will take your dog around their neighborhood on whatever route is most comfortable for them. I will make sure to provide water and clean up after them as necessary. I will also be cautious of the weather and accommodate what will be best for their overall health. For home check-ins: I will feed your pet, give fresh water, and shower them with plenty of attention and enrichment. For dogs, I will let them outside with supervision so they can relieve themselves and enjoy some fresh air. I will also take them on a walk if they are interested. For cats, I will clean their litter box and freshen with clean litter as necessary. I can also groom your pet if they are comfortable and grooming tools are provided.

Please let me know if your dog or cat have any behavioral concerns. If something causes fear or aggression, let me know so we can avoid it. I need to know if your pet has any allergies or dietary restrictions. I also want to know anything they really enjoy including treats, toys, and commands.
A typical day
I want your dog to experience as many sights, smells, and experiences as possible during their walks. We will go at their pace and take whatever route is most comfortable for them. For cats, I love offering them treats and playing with whatever toys they love. Sometimes even just sitting in the same room as them can be a great experience for both of us.

Availability
I currently work full-time Monday thru Friday from 9am till 4pm. I usually WFH one or two days a week which adds flexibility to my schedule. I am available after 5 pm during the week and have open availability on weekends to assist in the care of your pet.
