Pet care experience
Making animals happy, makes me happy. We all know our pets lets us know what makes them happy & I want to help your pet enjoy life when your busy. I enjoy all breeds of cats & dogs, big & small, smelly or freshly bathed, young & old alike. I've had pets since I was a child & believe they should be cared for with love & kindness. Pets with health/medicine or diet needs are right up my alley. Senior pet care that calls for more individual time, attention and care is an area I have a lot of experience with. I have trained 2 of my own dogs, lab & shih tzu. Slightly different training techniques, lol. Thank you for your consideration & I hope to meet your big fella or pretty lady soon.

Bridget was wonderful! This was our first time in five years with a new pet sitter so I was a bit apprehensive, but everything was perfect. Bridget came by for a Meet and Greet the week prior to get acclimated with the house and pups. She sent photos of their activities throughout the stay, took them on daily walks and even let them sleep on the bed with her. I will definitely use her the next time we are out of town.
Bridget was absolutely amazing!!! She sent so many updates, cared for and loved on my little Tev!! Fed him on time, and went above and beyond with him!!
Bridget is very sweet. Felt very comfortable leaving my dogs in her hands.

My home has my one cat, an orange beauty named Richard, he is 13 yrs. Very comfortable ignoring dogs. Otherwise he lies on my lap sleeping while I write. At a members home for a day/daily visit, I would only require internet for a stay over 2 hours. For overnight sittings, I can feed myself & would require a 1 hour evening break to lock down my own home & care for my cat.

I can administer medication orally & give shots to both cats or dogs. I had to give my cat daily shots for over a year with no problems. I'm very comfortable & confident giving meds & know the right techniques.
A typical day
I'll take a dog with me anywhere they're allowed. I enjoy going to places where pets get to meet people and sniff everything. I use to live in Idaho & I packed my dogs things everyday for car rides & to our near by camp ground & let him play in the water & meet other dogs. I rarely stay indoors when the weather is reasonable for pets.

I have an open schedule that allows me to sit or housesit. I'm a writer that works anywhere, mostly home. I can take dogs for rides or walks to the park. I have plenty of time for active dogs.
