Pet care experience
To call myself a "dog lover" would be an understatement-- I am absolutely obsessed with dogs! I grew up with 100 lb+ golden retrievers followed by a small Cavachon, so I'm experienced with dogs of all ages and sizes. I live with my fiancé (who matches my enthusiasm for dogs) and we can't wait to meet your furry friend! You and your dog will love that I'm so experienced with pet care. I've been a dog-sitter, dog-walker with PAWS NY, and part-time dog-mom for years. I love every second I spend with dogs, playing with them, learning about them, no matter what we're doing, it's fulfilling. I want every dog in my care to be happy, healthy and safe. Your pet's care will be my top priority. I'm currently in nursing school with a very flexible schedule. My fiance and I are not in the right place to have our own dog at the moment, but we would love to lavish attention on yours! Bridget is one of the best Godmothers a puppy mom could ask for! While spending time with Albus she helped enforce good behavior, practiced tricks and commands. She is very attentive, and Albus couldn't love her more! I highly recommend Bridget to help care for you dog.
Bridget has known our toy poodle, Shadow, for ten years now, and has been a warm and loving caretaker every time we have needed a helping hand! Bridget has taken Shadow for walks, fed him when we weren't home, and spent quality time with Shadow to calm him down while we were away. Shadow is quite picky about who feeds him, and can be a very difficult dog to get along with, but he immediately took a liking to Bridget! We think he can sense her calm personality, and he even seems to miss her when she leaves! Not many people would be able to handle an anxious dog like Shadow, but Bridget can! I would highly recommend Bridget to anyone who is looking for a responsible and experienced caretaker.
Over the years I have seen first-hand how Bridget is a wonderful and caring dog owner. Our dog, Khaki, had a slipped disc in her back resulting in special care for the rest of her life and Bridget has always made sure Khaki is getting the treatment she needs. From daily interactions to an innate love for dogs, Bridget is the epitome of someone I would want looking after my dog.

We'll go on walks around the beautiful brownstone neighborhoods of Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, and Brooklyn Heights. Prospect Park, just a short walk away, is a great place to play fetch and lounge in the shade. Your dog will receive LOTS of head and belly scratches, snuggling sessions, and tug-of-war matches.
