Pet care experience
I am a very experienced pet sitter for a wide variety of animals. I have 11 years of experience working in the veterinary field as an assistant and technician. I also attended the veterinary technology program at Douglas College. I have years of experience sitting for a wide variety of animals including any house hold pets, farm animals and exotics. I can give medications, care for animals with special needs, young and elderly animals. I give the best care possible to every animal and treat them as if they were my own. I am educated, experienced, outgoing, and passionate. In most situations I will stay with the pet in their own home. This is usually the most stress free situation for the animals. I have taken animals into my own home for pet sitting on occasion. Can't wait to meet you and your furry loved ones!

Bridget is the best! She stayed with Sitka for a weekend (Sitkas a Rottie Shepard 1 year old handful) and she was so great with him! Definitely recommend Bridget, she’s lovely!
She has kidney problems so I was gone serenty
Bridget does a great job dropping in on our stubborn English bulldog. She is very trustworthy and we appreciate the love she gives our dog while we are at work.

Pets who stay in my care are treated with love, kindness, and respect. Some important information I would like to know before sitting your dog is: Activity level, does he/she have any sort of aggression issues towards other dogs and/or people, and does he/she have any medical issues or on any medications.
A typical day
Every dog's needs and activity levels are different. If your dog loves hikes, dog parks, and running on the beach, lets do it! I love adventures and having a furry friend by my side makes those adventures much more enjoyable. My dog loves to go out and having another dog to join him is even better! If you have a more low key dog that may have injuries, illness, or is just getting a bit older, not a problem! Short walks, cuddles, and all my attention it is! Having previous experience with training puppies, I would love to help out with your young pup's learning. My dog is now 1.5 years old and we are always training and learning new things.

Availability
I am working from home Monday to Thursday. Friday being the only day I go into the office. I do have my own dog living with me so having animals around is already in my daily routine.
