Having grown up with dogs (Australian shepherd and Shetland Sheepdog) I have always had a passion for animal care. I am originally from Denver, CO and grew up among animals and nature. Although I never fulfilled my childhood dream of owning a "dog and cat farm", my passion for animal care and companionship hasn't changed. I am a high school teacher and graduate student. I have owned a dog all my life and have often pet-sit and walked dogs of other families. I have a familiarity with cat care, as I seem to be the only one of my friends without one. I am not at a point in my life to own a pet of my own, but I love spending time with animals and taking care of them. I have an appreciation for the different needs of breeds and recognize the importance of personality in pet care. I am an active person, so I am willing to go on long, extended walks if your animal needs it. I also live a block away from Forest Park, providing a great opportunity for outdoor play and fun. With my flexible schedule and desire to spend time with incredible animals, I believe that I am up to the task. Thank you for entrusting me to care for your companion.
