I am an animal lover who has two small doggos (a 14 year-old Peke-a-Poo and a 7 year old Yorkie) in downtown Monterey. I have been watching dogs for friends since getting my first dog 14 years ago. I know how hard it is to find trustworthy and reasonably-priced pet care, so I thought it was important to open my house (and give my time) to help other pet owners during this season of my life. I live in a 'Monterey Classic' in downtown with a small unfenced yard great for quick potty breaks and a gated patio perfect for small to medium dogs... but not so great for large dogs or escape artists. My dogs are ambivalent towards other dogs and cats, as they think they are human. I love, loooovvve big dogs and--as a former German Shepherd dog-mom--am completely comfortable walking or dogsitting them in their home. (My house isn't large enough for overnight stays of average- to high-energy large dogs, but may be fine for a big ol' couch potato.)
