I have a life time of experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. Growing up I had six dogs, five cats, multiple horses, and cattle. My education is in environmental biology with an emphasis on wildlife so I have experience and understanding of non-traditional pets as well. I also have worked with various reptiles and birds through work with the ambassador animals at the zoo.

I have a small fenced in patio with 6ft privacy fence attatched to my townhouse as well as a friendly dog to keep your pet company. I am capable of crating if necessary as well as administer prescriptions if need be.

Please let me know your pet’s preferences and temperament. While I can handle dog reactive pets I do need forewarning as that will change what activities I do with your pet. I am experienced with senior animals (I had a lab live to be 19!) so understand the different needs that come with aging pets. Generally speaking I would like to do a meet and greet to ensure your pet’s comfort with me as a stranger.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs both physically and mentally! I’m a big believer in allowing dogs to smell all the smells and have a number of puzzle toys and games. I also frequently take my own dog to Shawnee Mission Dog Park to swim and socialize and would be willing to do the same with your dogs!

Availability
I am currently working part-time and primarily from home so I have a fairly free schedule. I already arrange my schedule around my own dog’s care so adding another fur baby or two is no problem!
