I’ve grown up with dogs, as well as a variety of other pets, in my household since the day I was born. I’ve worked in veterinary clinics, wildlife rehabilitation centers, zoos, and currently, I am the wildlife biologist at the Air Force academy. I received a bachelor’s degree in wildlife and fisheries sciences, and have been my friends’ go to pet sitter for years. No dog is too big or small, young or old, for me to handle and love! I have ample experience working with animals in virtually every aspect imaginable.

I have a fenced in yard with one pup and a few reptiles! My reptiles stay in their enclosures in a closed room, but my pup loves other dogs!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, including daily medication requirements, allergies, phobias, etc. I’d also like to know how your dog does around other dogs, so I know how to handle them when out hiking or in public where other dogs may occur.
A typical day
I typically try to go on a hike every weekend, so if I’m watching your dog over the weekend, rest assured, they will receive ample activity! If your dog is older or not up for hikes, I am more than happy to take them on shorter walks, play fetch, take them on car rides, snuggle with them on the couch, and give them all the loving they could possibly want! I also know of a few reservoirs that are popular swimming sites for dogs, so if your dog loves to swim, I’d love to take them out there!

Availability
I am a full-time employee working at the US Air Force Academy, however, I make my own hours, and can leave to check in on your fur babies as needed. Typically, I finish work around 4pm on weekdays, and don’t have any obligations on weekends, so if you need a weekend (in home) sitter, nightly dog walker, dog boarder, or someone to be able to check in on your pet during the day, I’m your girl! I also have a military ID, so if you live on a military base, I am able to get on and off bases freely.
