I have had dogs and other pets since I was little. I love animals! I currently have 3 dogs and know how hard it is to find good care in the area from someone you can trust. I want to be a reliable and trustworthy resource for my fellow pet lovers in the Charleston area. I have taken care of my friend’s and family’s pets for years and have a lot of experience with all types of dogs and a few cats. I work from home and figured why not do what I love on the side and help others out with their furry friends!?

I have a fenced in yard at my house, but have experience walking dogs as well. I have sent my dog through obedience training and understand using/teaching basic commands. My animals are part of the family, so I’m not as strict as most (ie mine get on the furniture, sleep in the bed, wander in and out of the house) but I respect your rules and am comfortable laying down the law if you are more strict with your pets. Every pet should be treated differently based on their personality, but I always treat them with love!

A typical day
Physical and mental stimulation is important. I have experience with both lazy and high energy dogs. Sometimes just walking isn’t enough! I like to play with dogs too whether it’s tug of war, fetch, or some made up game. If you allow it, I also have a fenced in yard and a pool they can play in if you want their stimulation to be longer than just a 30 minute walk.

I’m currently working from home so my schedule is very flexible. My husband and I both have a lot of experience with pets so if I ever have a meeting or something that conflicts, he works from home too and can step in to help!
