Hey I’m Brianna! I’ve grown up always having a dog or cat in the household so I took responsibility of caring for them (feeding, walking, bathing, etc). I’ve also worked as a kennel attendant, animal care associate, & a veterinary assistant. Working as a kennel attendant gave me the experience of working with several different breeds of both cats and dogs, taught me how to give medications to both cats and dogs, and taught me how to properly clean up after both dogs and cats. Working as a veterinary assistant taught me how to control/handle different breeds of both cats and dogs, taught me how to administer medications as needed, taught me proper restraint of animals, and taught me how to clean up after them. Working at the humane society as a caregiver helped me learn different behaviors of cats/dogs & how to do the whole adoption process. I’ve also worked with senior animals & puppies! I previously did 2 years of school at the University of Wisconsin River Falls and have classroom experience on farms dealing with cows, pigs, and horses.
