I have 1 stubborn but lovable pup of my own, 1 long term foster dog, and 2 children who have always been around dogs and are sweet to all animals! I’m almost always available. Dogs ARE allowed on our comfy sectional and are allowed to sleep in our room (and bed if they can fit!). We also have room to give anxious dogs a little bit of space if it seems overwhelming so they can have a quiet place to themselves. I have had dogs my entire 24 years of life ranging from puppies to old timers and many different breeds. I understand every dog is different and may have unique needs and I am willing to accommodate most dogs. I want to board dogs because I have watched my mom stress so badly when she has to go out of town. She wants to bring her chihuahua with her, but she suffers from severe anxiety and cannot handle long drives. I think it is important to have a safe place to board your dogs so you can enjoy your time away without worry! I do temporarily crate my own pup and our long term foster when a new dog initially enters the home to ensure the safety of all. I let the guest pup sniff the crates to get acquainted and I introduce the pups one at a time, then all together. I believe doing it this way helps maintain control over the situation and I prefer to be safe rather than sorry! Within 1 hour, all dogs are roaming freely together so don’t fret. I am always open, honest, and willing to answer and address any and all questions or concerns. I may send quite a few updates so be prepared!
