I have always been an avid dog lover, and I used to beg my friends and family members to let me take care of their dogs at any opportunity I could seize. I recently worked at the Sacramento SPCA caring for dogs (and other animals) of all sizes, ages, and personalities. My number one concern is always the welfare and happiness of the animals in my care. While at the shelter, I was able to work with a wide range of dogs and help them refine their manners (i.e. sit, stay, down, come) before finding their forever homes. I was also trained in administering medication, vaccines, and treatments, and am well versed in the wonders of using harnesses for walking strong pullers. I respect and understand that each dog is an individual with their own personality and needs, and that's what makes each one of them special.
