I’ve never not lived with dogs. And now cats are on my list of essentials since they came into the picture a decade ago. I love them both, so much so I would consider myself “Snow White” out of all the Disney Princesses. I just deeply resonate with these creatures. My current children include my human daughter, Rednose Pitbull, and Tortoiseshell Cat- who were both rescues and are now BFFs. I’ve cared for various neighbors pets since I was 14 so I can add to that list: Guinea pigs, fish, a tortoise, and hermit crabs.
