Animal Loving Veterinary Assistant
Pet care experience
I have worked as a veterinary assistant for around 2 years. This has afforded me the experience of working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments while also understanding how to read animal body language. I have also trained in Thailand at a teaching hospital where I learned certain medical and diagnostic skills. Through both of these experiences, I gained knowledge in working with severely disabled animals. I’ve cared for dogs with extensive spinal cord injuries that have put them in “wheelchairs”. I also am well-versed in caring for “feisty” pets in a calm and collected manner. Aside from professionally, my personal life is also full of animals. My family and I have 6 cats, a dog, 7 chickens, 3 turtles, and a guinea pig. I’ve owned animals my whole life and am incredibly comfortable caring for them. Aside from working part-time, I’m also a student. This means my weekends and afternoons are typically open to care for your pets! I do school virtually, so I can try to work with your schedule as well :) Because of my veterinary experience, I’m perfectly equipped to cater to whatever your and your pet’s specific needs are. Whether that be a special type of harness, a specific walk pattern, avoiding anxieties, administering medication or anything else you may need, I’m more than capable of meeting any requirement.
Reviews
I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Bri. She's incredibly sweet, always on time, and her communication is top-notch. I felt completely at ease leaving my dog in her care. Highly recommend her & will absolutely hire her again!
Brianne was amazing, she was timely to the check ins and so sweet with Millie. We would 100% rebook!
Thank you for taking care of our pets! Appreciate the updates!
Very sweet and accommodating sitter! My boys loved her and I had no worries while I was gone. I got pictures and updates. :)

I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone you don’t know. That’s why it’s my number one priority to make you comfortable. Don’t hesitate to express your concerns and let me know what you need to feel confident in letting me care for your pets!
Information Brianna H. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any anxieties (balloons, trucks, squirrels, etc) so I can avoid them or prepare for their reaction. It’s very important that I know if your pet gets along with other animals and what could trigger any nervous or aggressive behaviors. Knowing the general temperament of your fur baby is very important as well. Any other information you think is necessary is helpful! Here are some questions to spark any information you may find important to give me: - Is my dog reactive? What triggers this? - Does my dog pull on the leash? - How does my dog act around other dogs and strangers? - Does my dog have specific medical needs? - Is my dog an “escape artist”? - Does my dog respond to basic commands? - Am I comfortable with treats being given to my dog? - Does my dog have any allergies? - Does my dog jump? This list is just to get you started! I’d love to know anything you feel is important :)
A typical day
I’m a big believer in allowing dogs to explore as they walk. Because dog’s have such a strong sense of smell which they use to examine the world around them, I love to give them the chance to smell anything and everything. Exercise is so important for dogs, so we will make sure to burn lots of energy!

I’ve had experience with many different breeds of animals. Through my day to day life and professional experiences, animals are built into my schedule. I’ve previously worked with the following: - dogs - cats - hamsters - bunnies - ferrets - birds - guinea pigs - fish If your pet isn’t listed, I’m more than happy to care for them! The above are just animals I have prior experience with, but I’m always open to learning more! Don’t hesitate to reach out so we can talk about if I’d be a good fit for you and your pet!
