I have taken care of many different types of animals over the years. I grew up in a household where there have always been animals around that I have truly loved and cared for. Right now I work at a veterinary clinic as a kennel tech/vet assistant training to become a vet technician. Before this, I used to work at a boarding and rescue called Luna's House for over a year where I took care of a multitude of animals ranging in both size and age such as dogs, cats, turtles, lizards, gerbils, mice, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, rabbits, and chinchillas. In my personal life, I have cared for dogs of different breeds, cats, fish, chickens, and bearded dragons. Through both personal experience and job experience, I am able to give medications orally, such as pills, capsules, and liquids, administer injectable medication like insulin, give baths and nail trims, and clean ears. For years, both family and friends have relied on me to take care of their pets while they've been away. I would medicate, feed, walk, and bathe their pets as needed. I also have a hobby of training my dogs to learn different tricks through the use of verbal and hand commands. I am comfortable with all kinds of animals and am always willing to take care of animals I have little experience with to expand my knowledge.
