Life is short––why spend time doing something you don’t absolutely love? As a recent college grad, I have a lot of different interests, but the one passion I keep coming back to is my love of animals, particularly dogs, and I want to dedicate more of my energy to becoming the best dog care provider. There have been three major dog loves of my life so far, and I want to broaden the community of pups in my life. My first memory of falling head over heels in love was when my parents surprised me with a dog when I was ten years old. I can still remember feeling so overwhelmed with emotions––the full range from total exhilaration to a bit of fear that such a precious little life was depending on me for everything. I definitely believe that growing up with a dog shaped the person I am today, and has taught me to be compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy. Like our canine counterparts, I’m loyal, easygoing, and enjoy having fun––and I will always put their safety and happiness first. Although I have yet to work with dogs in a professional capacity, I’ve cared for my own dogs as well as those of friends and family members for many years. I think a sustained, one-on-one relationship with dogs have taught me how to read an individual pup and anticipate their needs. I’m really passionate about dog care, especially because their constant positivity and unadulterated joy are infectious––and I can feel myself getting lighter when I’m around dogs. One of my hobbies is trying to figure out each pup’s unique quirks––whether it’s their reaction to being petted in a certain place or the way they snore after a long walk or the way they circle around when they’re about to go number two. Connections are really important to me, so I will take the time and energy to find your beloved pet’s true personality. I currently work part-time in the afternoons, but am free in the mornings and on the weekends. While most of my experience has been with smaller to medium sized dogs, I’m very open to working with larger dogs as well. I feel that my calm, composed demeanor helps with my ability to work well with all types of breeds, sizes, and ages. I would love to spend time with your dog during my available morning hours in and around Yorba Linda. I love being outdoors as much as possible, so I look forward to going on long, meandering walks with your pup or spending lots of quality time together if you need a pet sitter for several days. Whatever you need, I’m eager to help!
