Personal goal: love like a dog
Pet care experience
To say I love dogs is an understatement; my boyfriend has bought me a cartoon dog blanket, teddy dog to sleep with, etc. I'm currently a student at CU Boulder. I'm getting my degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering, so I understand the value of responsibility. I really love spending time with dogs in any way, shape, or form, whether that be visiting rescues to give the unadopted some love or going home to spend time with my own pups (they're 6, but they'll always be my babies). I've house/dog sat for many in the past, and I'm very good at budgeting my time such that, if they need to be fed at specific times or walked before sundown, I can adjust my schedule accordingly. I'm very easy going; my own dogs are quite excitable, so I understand the patience required for some. I love the unique personalities each dog can possess, and I'll strive to make your dogs feel as loved as they'll make me feel!

I like to know the dietary needs, such as timing and composition of the meals and the things to watch out for-- I once dog sat for a puppy that really loved screens, and the owner had to warn me about leaving my phone in her reach. If there is not a doggy-door involved, the timing of letting the dogs out and sleep schedule is helpful, and I'd love to know about their personality. I really don't have a breed preference-- the species is what's important!
A typical day
This is somewhat case-by-case. If the dog is used to suburban trail strolls, I love leisurely walks. If the dog loves to hike, I know Chautauqua like the back of my hand. If the dog is a lounger, sitting in their company is plenty fun for the both of us.
