Pet care experience
Whenever someone needs their pets to be taken care of, I’m always the one they turn to first because they know I love animals and am very responsible as I have been caring for animals since I was 10. I’ve always loved dogs especially but where I lived at the time, since they didn’t allow them I cared for smaller pets such as rodents and they were able to live out to their expected lifespans. I’m not afraid of unusual pets or even aggressive animals, I always try to make them feel safe and befriend them as time goes on. I always believe in giving animals chances. I got a dog about 6 months ago from someone who couldn’t care for him anymore (he’s more than a year old) and he’s been thriving with me. Learning how to use the bathroom outside and catching on to new tricks very easily. I try working with him everyday when it comes to his tricks but if not, we just spend time together, play, and go on walks. I’m really into training animals and I find it very rewarding. I also do grooming on my own animals that I currently have and past animals, I bathe them, cut their nails, and even cut their hair.

I have a fenced yard that goes along the side of the house and to the back so there’s plenty of space for your pet to run around if they are very active. My dog doesn’t stay outside as he is small and skinny (chihuahua) and he slips through the fence very easily but he does go out to use the bathroom and comes back inside when he’s done. If I’m caring for someone pet at their home I make sure if it’s okay to take them on a walk first and besides that, I usually just go by the rules and instructions that they want me to follow. If there’s a schedule they want their pet on then I will comply with it and follow it thoroughly. If I’m caring for someone’s pet in my home, if they are crate trained then they can bring their crate with them or any toys and treats that they like as well. I also have treats available in my home and if it’s okay with the owners I will ask for permission to give some to their pets. It’s also okay for pets to be on the furniture in my home and be on my bed, unless the owners don’t want them on these. If an animal is also in my care when at my house then I will take them on walks as well unless the owner says otherwise. I love all dog breeds, all animals, all energy types and all sizes of pets so I would get along well with any pet!

Your dog must be friendly with people and other dogs. If not, let me know and we can hopefully arrange (only for smaller dogs) I can’t care for bigger dogs if they are not socialized and aggressive towards other animals and people. Also let me know if your dog has any special needs I need to know about or needs to take medication.
A typical day
I love when animals are happy and I love high energy animals, because I like to go out and about, and just being able to take them on a walk or out to play is very relaxing and rewarding. I usually take all dogs I watch around the block during walk times which takes 15 mins to get back home and gives them more than enough time to use the bathroom.

So I currently am available almost 24/7 as of right now because I was looking for a job that I could do on my own time since the circumstances I’m in right now don’t allow me to really focus on getting a full time job. I’m available for boarding and dog sitting during the week and on weekends and as for time, I can be flexible and start really early and take care of your pets really late. As long as it’s discussed we can find a way to work it out in a way that’s convenient for you.
