Pet care experience
I volunteer at the local Gunnison Valley Animal Welfare League 2-3x per week, and I love meeting and caring for new dogs, whether they are young, excitable puppies or older, snuggle-loving dogs. I am not afraid to take on dogs with lots of energy, but I also love to just sit, pet and snuggle laid-back dogs. I am excited to meet your dogs!

Brian was amazingly accomodating, adaptable, and responsive, meeting me where worked well for me and then, of course, taking my dog for a fantastic outing — which I know because his photos documented the whole walk, complete with water and shade breaks.
Brian is a dog volunteer for Gunnison Valley Animal Welfare League. He is wonderful with the dogs, very kind and patient as well. He takes his time getting to know each pup and does what's best for their individual needs. He is 100% reliable, covers 2 shifts every week and fills in when others need help. He makes sure the all of the dogs needs are met at each shift and he is not afraid to ask questions if he isn't confident about something. He has also volunteered to transport incoming dogs, a task given only to our most reliable team members. Without a doubt, I would hire Brian to care for my pets, he genuinely enjoys being with animals!

I love to play fetch with dogs, go on walks by the river (and swim/wade with the dog if that's OK with you!), go on hikes, play at the dog park, or just snuggle, practice tricks, or give belly scratches.
