A safe home for your furry friend
Pet care experience
I grew up with small dogs and have had my current pup for four years. Blue is my best friend; I’d treat your pet the same. He’s an angel; doesn’t get toy/food jealous and would be thrilled to have a friend here. Even when his cousin (my sister’s Cav Spaniel) snips at him or steals his stuff, he never reacts and still loves her.
Reviews
I’ve known Brian and his dog Blue for many years since they used to lived in Chicago. Brian is a great dog dad and even better person, and he cares deeply about dogs. Blue is also the sweetest dog - he loves to play, cuddle and hang, as he’s always happy so long as he’s around you. With Brian supervising and with Blue such a well behaved pup, I would absolutely trust that my dog is in great hands!
Brian has cared for my Cavalier King Charles many times and I don’t trust many people with her. He treats her as if she’s his own dog. I always know she’s in good hands when Brian is watching her, both overnight and during the days. She gets a ton of attention and exercise and is always in a happy mood when I return. He also communicates with me while he’s watching her. He sends pictures and updates which I really appreciate. Can’t say enough good things about Brian!

Long walks every morning and evening; a short walk around lunch. Potty breaks as often as they need. I have a fenced-in backyard with a pool, so I make sure to stay outside when with them. (Nothing would ever happen, but if your dog jumps in, I was a lifeguard for 5 years and HS swimmer.) At night, whatever your dog is comfortable with works. Blue sleeps on the bed with me and your dog is welcome to also. Dogs are allowed everywhere in the house except bathrooms. None of my furniture is that nice so they can hop/sleep anywhere.

Please let me know if you have any special requests for your dog ahead of time. I can accept dogs up to 20 pounds, thank you!
A typical day
Quick potty break at 6-7am; long walk around 815am. Free roam of the house as I work from my home office. If your dog wants to play, Blue would love that…but he can also read a room and won’t bother if your pup wants to be left alone. Lunchtime: quick walk around the block. Long walk again around 5-6; TV time, then a potty break right before bed.

Availability
I work from home, so your dog will have someone here almost constantly. Never gone for more than 1-2 hours (morning gym and the occasional errand). My work schedule is typically 830am-5pm, but I’d put a bed and toys in my home office so your pup can have companionship even as I work.
