I've loved and learned from companion animals as long as I can remember! I've had a dog as my best bud and responsibility for over 15 years, and this relationship has become a huge part of who I am and what keeps me happy and healthy. I love cats, but have to get time with them through visiting and sitting for friends for now. I worked for Mud Bay, a local holistic pet supply retailer, for 12 years. During this time I've walked dogs and house sat for friends and customers alike as needs arise, to everyone's joy and satisfaction. My experience has resulted in my love of, and success in, engaging with a huge variety of dog and cat breeds, personality types and body language. While I've learned to interpret animal signals I've also learned the correct human behavior and body language needed to create a sense of serenity and trust in me. I always consider it my first priority when getting to know an animal to wait and watch for them to reveal what their needs are, and then to meet those needs in providing safety and fun.
