I have had dogs, cats, and other pets (turtles, etc.) since I was very young and started doing plenty of the work taking care of them from before the time I was a teenager. The first dog I had that I considered really mine was Oreo, a Husky / Springer Spaniel. He had a lot of energy and liked to go on long walks or runs to get his energy out. I took care of my brother's dog part-time while living with him when I was a little older. She was a Beagle / Australian Healer, and had some anxiety issues. We were good friends. All told, I have taken care of probably 4 or 5 dogs independently or for long periods (more than that on a more temporary basis) and many cats (I have 2 right now). I have worked a tiny bit in caregiving and plumbing, so I'm comfortable working in others' homes and confident taking care of problems that might arise. That said I'm new to professional pet sitting and Rover. I do love making my pets feel loved and I would do the same for yours, feeding them, going for walks, playing in a park or your backyard, taking them for a run, etc. I'd be honored to help take care of your furry family members.
