LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT BRIAN, OR AS I CALL HIM, " THE DOG WHISPERER" Brian is truly one of the most compassionate, gifted, patient, and talented animal care givers I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I have extensive experience in pet care and animal behavior and rescue, and in meeting and working with Brian to train and care for rescues, as well as having him care for my own dogs and cats (we have an entire grumble of pugs, including a puppy!), I can say with absolute confidence that I have never worked with or known a dog sitter and animal care lover that has such passion and intuition for dogs (and cats) of all ages, shapes, sizes, dispositions; in pet sitting and caring for my two senior pugs over time, he has brought out this light and happiness and excitement in them that I have not only not seen in years (or ever even in puppy hood!), but their enthusiasm and activity and play and engagement with each other, people, toys, and outside has gone from almost zero to 100. I had chalked up my senior dogs' lack of enthusiasm and lessened activity and engagement to older age, arthritis, and other health issues. My vet even confirmed for me that their lack of interest in their former favorite thins and inclination to sleep and not vocalize or enjoy play or outside was "normal." And then Brian showed up. They took to him IMMEDIATELY, and no one else exists when he is around, which I LOVE. He has an intuition for animals' body language, needs, etc that almost seems like a dog whisperer. I have also had the pleasure of working with him in a rescue in a number of capacities and have witnessed the same careful observation, thoughtfulness, creativity, compassion, and patience with some of the most trouble or frightened or "aggressive" pups we have...he has found ways to individually work with not only my dogs and the other dogs he regularly cares for through pet sitting and other arenas, but he is well versed and always seeking out more knowledge and education on dog behavior, training, with positive reinforcement and fear free. He's reached dogs that no one else could, and connected with them in ways no one else could (not for lack of trying) or had the patience, and it's just so wonderful to see such giving, compassionate, true animal lover give so much joy to every dog (and cat!) he cares for in sitting, and in rescue. He is truly a wonderful warm person that loves dogs and has so much to give, I can't imagine wanting anyone else to look after my dogs and pets, whether it's walks, vacations and overnights, young and old, health issues and medication, dogs that are often shy and afraid of new people or men. Not to mention puppy care and training. Brian does not HAVE to pet sit or care for dogs and other animals, nor volunteer...getting to know him in volunteering and in working in pet sitting together, as well as caring for my own dogs, he does this because he truly enjoys and loves dogs and animals, and has not just a reliable and professional demeanor and methods to give, but he is a truly wonderful, compassionate, genuine soul...I think that's why he connects and does such amazing work and excellent care for dogs and cats. Before I met Brian, worked with him in rescue and pet sitting, I had never met someone that I truly trusted with my pets and their varying needs, and now he is the only person I want and request to help care for my pups. I take animal care and entrusting my pets or other entrusting them to me as a sitter incredibly seriously. Brian will care for your babies like they are his own, and their is no dog or pet sitter out there more versatile, experienced, passionate, or has such a genuine love and connection with dogs. If there is, I haven't met them, and I've been involved with pet sitting, rescue, etc for years. Don't hesitate to reach out to Brian for anything and everything your dog might need and that you need or want for your fur baby. He will not only work with you in any way you see fit or need to help you KNOW that your pups are getting the BEST care and sitting you could imagine, he will work to accommodate you and your dog's needs, schedule, etc around his own, because he WANTS to be there and provide wonderful service. I can't say enough good things about him, other than I would be selfish if I kept him a secret and to myself!

Brian loves dogs! He shows concern for all dogs well being. He is also in good physical shape so he can take your dog for a great walk. He is very responsible, reliable, and enjoys giving all dogs the attention they need. When I leave my dog with Brian, I know I don't have to worry; I know my dog will be will taken care of. I would highly recommend Brian to take care of any one's dog.
