For the last Twelve years I’ve been a proud dog dad to Oreo and I honestly can’t imagine my life without him in it. I raised him since he was a tiny, adorable puppy, and it’s been an amazing journey to watch him grow into a happy, friendly, active dog. Fatherhood can come in many different forms, and I truly see him as my son––an extension of myself. Dogs are like sponges in many respects––they absorb what you put in, and what you get is more than anyone can imagine. Being a dog dad has taught me patience, responsibility, and sacrifice–and raising a dog from his infancy has really given me perspective about my own life. These things can’t be learned from reading a book; it’s something that has to be experienced. Oreo is one of the silliest and goofiest pups I know and perhaps a reflection of his human. We are both easygoing and like to take naps and have a merry time, whether we’re hanging out at the dog park or cuddling up on the couch while watching Netflix. I love dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages––and so does Oreo! We’d love to have more company. If he can’t have a little sister or brother, at the very least, he can have some awesome playmates! I have a small yard we can play in or head over to the closest dog park to get some exercise. I believe a good long walk can help the bond between man and dog, which will lead to much happier pup. I try to be a reliable person in my life, and my friends and family know that they can always rely on me for just about anything. I always keep my promises. I don't have much expertise with other animals but I am always willing to learn. I'm very patient, kind, and up for a challenge when it comes to learning the habits and routines of other animals. I will be devoted to your dog and Oreo––they will never be alone for too long. In fact, I swear Oreo thinks I can be overbearing at times because I’m always trying to make sure he’s comfortable and happy. We’ve survived his rebellious teen years, so now it’s smooth sailing. When under my care, your dog will be a part of my family, and I will go above and beyond to make sure your pup is safe and loved. It’s funny how even the toughest macho guys can melt into a puddle with dogs, saying sweet nothings and planting a million kisses on their furry best friend like it’s the most natural thing in the world. I’m not ashamed to show affection and I can’t wait to welcome your pup into my home.
