Pet care experience
I have had dogs since I was a child but the first dog I got on my own was Bailey in 1991. I have taken care of many of my family’s and friends pets over the years. I took my dog, Lucky, to learn to be a literacy dog to help young children. I’ve had Lucky for 10 years and he is an awesome Beagle/Bassett mix.

In a clients home, I will do whatever is asked of me to make the client feel comfortable with leaving their pets in my care. I know it is not easy when I have to leave my pets for any amount of time. I want the clients to not worry and trust that I will not only look after their pets but I will enjoy doing it. The pets and I will create great experiences and have fun along the way.

It is important to know the special needs of all the pets I care for. It’s important to know the medicine they may need, as well as anything else, like if they wear a jacket when it’s cold or they like a certain treat. The more information I have the better I will be at looking after the animals for the clients.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks in the neighborhood or a local park. My dog loves the trails at Fresh Pond. I’ll run with them if they like that. In addition, I love playing catch with a ball or a frisbee.

Availability
I work for the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier. Evenings and weekends are the best times for me to look after your pets and give them the love and care they need.
