Kind, Patient, Respectful Dog Lover
Pet care experience
Greetings, My name is Brian, and I am 41 years old. I live in Salt Lake City, and I am an Assistant Professor of Dance at Utah Valley University. I grew up with four magnificent and gentle greyhounds, and since leaving home I have been lucky enough to live with and care for dogs as well as housesit and petsit for friends and colleagues. I look forward to getting out for a walk with your beloved pet, dropping by to offer some company to both cats and dogs, or keeping them company over night(s) when you are travelling. I am a respectful and kind friend to all folks (pets and people alike), and I am a responsible house sitter, who is quiet, easy-going, and hard-working. Please feel free to message or call me with any questions you might have. Have a lovely day.

Dear Rover, I am most assuredly a positive reference for Brian G. He and i have been friends and colleagues for several years. As he is applying for pet sitting opportunities i want to include information that pet owners would find most helpful. Brian is the most loving, caring person i know. He has interacted with my little zoo with absolute love. He is sensitive to which furry friend needs an extra pet, which one needs to have some alone time, which one needs a walk, who has a special needs diets/medicines. I feel completely confident leaving Brian with my pets, he is 110% reliable, never late, never forgets to send pictures of my gang. Brian is more than sensible, i feel confident that were there an emergency, Brian would be able to manage that until i could be reached. It is a gift to not have to worry about loved one's when I am gone. Lastly, I am not at all worried about Brian being in my home. He is clean, careful with appliances, conscientious about trash day, etc. In short, Brian G has my absolute highest recommendation. Thanks A
Brian is wonderful with all animals! He will provide a safe, loving, and caring environment for your pets. He has watched my dogs a few times and they always enjoy their time with him. I have also seen Brian dogsitting other dogs and those dogs clearly love him as well. Your dogs will have fun and build a lasting friendship with Brian!
I have known Brian since for more than fifteen years! He has house sat for us, dog sat for us, including taking fabulous care of our rambunctious black lab, Maggie, from the time she was a puppy. One time he even did some research into teenage-dog rebelliousness. He is physically active, caring and totally reliable. We highly recommend him with your dog or your house.
Brian has spent a lot of time with my sweet 8 year old yorkie and I have seen him interact with many other dogs and cats. I am always impressed by his natural empathy and connection with both cats and dogs. My dog loves Brian! Your pet would definitely be in great company with Brian!

Safety, trust & environment
I follow instructions with great care and attention, and I appreciate as much detail as possible regarding the care of pets and homes. I welcome and encourage clients to check-in as much as they'd like, texting, calling, or facetiming. Pets should be treated with respect and love. Patience and attention are very important, especially when first getting to know an animal friend. I need to be available to see and hear the message they are relaying through their behavior and demeanor. I believe a person's living space is very sacred and important and should be honored, keeping it clean, calm, and quiet when they are gone.

Information Brian G. would like to know about your pet
I appreciate knowing any information a dog parent is interested in sharing regarding their pet. I am especially interested in what sort of walking route or routine makes an owner feel most comfortable. Additionally, I am always curious to know what sort of training the dog might have, so we can practice. However, little to no training is also absolutely fine.
A typical day
I love walking through City Creek Park with canine companions because there is so much to see and smell. Otherwise, I enjoy walking through calm residential streets or visiting a local dog park.
