I had dogs (3) for 24 years - but I lost my Black Lab, Midnight, in June 2020, he was over 12 years old. The loss of my buddy along with the uncertainty of the pandemic, led me to decide not to get another dog right away. I still have a big kennel and everything needed to care for a dog in my home. Dogs barking is not tolerated in my home or in the peaceful area where I live. There is plenty of green space here but dogs are always on leash outside. My first dog was a Golden Retriever puppy named Lamont Cranston. He lived to be 12 years old. I adopted Midnight (about 10 months old) the day after Lamont passed. Four years later, I adopted a Black Lab puppy named Sammy. Just over a year later I sold Sammy to a family who had lost their dog in a car accident as I was planning to relocate from MN to Houston.
