I love dogs and they love me!
Pet care experience
My first dog as a child was a dear black lab named Snowy. We raised her from a pup. We were pals for life and it was such sorrow when I finally lost her to old age during High School. At college my parents dog Amber (Chocolate Lab) was my next furry pal. After college my pets were Max and Sampson (mix Lab and pure-breed Lab). I had to give my boys Max and Sampson to friends when I moved to a smaller space. Later we got my son a little terrier mix from an Adopt-a-pet event. I loved her so and she loved us back. She passed on and and I still get a lump in my throat just thinking about her. I've been dog-less for for several years now - the attachment is bitter sweet. I love to spend time with family and friend's pets (Bella - a small yellow mix, Chance a docile big mix who always seeks me out, Priscilla an adorable little aged terrier, my wife's hairdresser's rescued Great Danes). I have a special bond to my boss' wife's therapy Lab - also a Sampson. I used to see him 5 days a week when I worked out of his house. When we got an office he'd come to visit and he'd bee-line to me through the office! I love dogs, and they love me - I always find the "spot" they love and they melt and sigh in my hands! So, I'm at the age where I need regular exercise. Dog walking and play time is the answer! I get exercise, enjoy the stress relief that dogs bring, and they get to play and have a fulfilling time. Dogs truly are man's best friend, and I've always tried to be their best friend!
Reviews
Caring, honest! He will love you pet just like you do, and they will love him. He has had his own pets growing up and as an adult. He will take good care of your pet(s).
Brian has been a close friend of my family for over five years. During that time, he has always treated us with kindness and respect, and I am very fortunate to be as close to him as I am. We get together weekly at my house, where we have two large and sometimes unruly dogs. He has always treated them perfectly well and makes time to greet them and give them pets and scratches, even when they are distracting him from something important. Brian is a great friend to both my family and my dogs. I'm sure he will be a great friend to you and yours as well.
Brian grew up with dogs in the household. Labrador Retrievers were a constant source of companionship while growing up. Once married and starting a family, he always had dogs as pets in the house, including a rescue. He understands and executes the responsibilities needed to care for an animal. He will make a good dog sitter.
Brian is a great person and an even better dog caregiver. He does whatever is necessary to make sure each dog is happy and loved. Dogs always seem to love him!
