Dog "Fun"cle ... Fetch Me!
Pet care experience
I've had well trained dogs my whole life. Believe in positive reinforcement and keeping it fun. My previous dog carried it's own leash on walks, rang a bell to go out, knew all basic and advanced commands. Retired Firefighter/Paramedic with regular free time for your pet. I'll get on the ground and play, toss the ball or toy and might even teach them a new trick...

Brian was an absolutely fabulous dog sitter! He (and Cheryl) exceeded our every expectation and set a new standard in dog sitting. Our pup was completely relaxed when we got home. Everything was clean and even the sheets and towels were washed! Our sweet puppy received wonderful walks every day and clearly felt right at home with this kind, loving sitter. We hope to always use Brian whenever it works for him! We loved the daily photos we were sent and the updates on how Loki was doing. It was the most relaxing trip for us because we didn’t worry about our sweet puppy being in good hands.
We were so pleased with Brian and very thankful that he could help us out. He had to take care of three dogs, three ducks, 8 guinea fowl, and five fish. He really understood the personalities of our dogs and they loved having him take care of them.
Absolutely amazing experience with Brian! He and his wife developed a very obvious, sincere bond with all 3 of our pups during the 2-3 week period they needed some extra TLC (via walks and attention) while my husband was out of town. Brian was incredibly communicative about his planned time frame for pick ups/drop offs, arrived exactly when he promised, was always conscientious and accommodating to needs of our dogs and myself, and made sure to utilize the time he spent with then in ways that would be the most beneficial. On most days, Brian would actually spend at least an hour with our 3 boys, who are drastically different with respect to age and size, as well as energy and activity (13 y.o./10 lb Maltese-Shih Tzu, 8 y.o./50 lb Border Collie, & 1 y.o./65 lb Pit Bull/Husky). He would take them for a 30 minute/~1 mile walk-trot then pack them into his SUV for a 30 minute trip to the nearby dog park. And he did it 2x a day! Every time he took them out, they always returned in a state of true happiness, satisfaction, and content exhaustion. They have literally started waiting in front of the door in anticipation of his return. TLDR; I 100% recommend Brian! Pretty sure our boys would like to be adopted by him - or at least let him have partial custody.
Brian did a fantastic job taking care of our dogs! He kept in touch with us and sent updates about how the dogs were doing. Brian took great care of our house, too, and left it better than he found it. We would have Brian take care of our dogs again in a heartbeat!
